Puerto Rico Trip
Each year in the cold of Jan/Feb, about 30 Bethel people travel to our sister congregation in Puerto Rico, Bethel Lutheran of Dorado, and work for them and for the Lutheran synod of Puerto Rico. It is a popular, rewarding, and fun trip.

February 2–9, 2009
marks the 9th trip to Dorado Puerto Rico as part of our Puerto Rico Mission Partnership we have with Bethel Lutheran in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Every year the projects vary, but painting is almost a constant. Some of the projects we have done are: sealing the roof of the church, re-modeling the church’s bathrooms, putting up a fence at the Puerto Rico Synod camp, and a couple projects involved work at a member’s house.

Many people return year after year because of the relationships made, and this year's trip will cost $525 which includes airfare, housing and transportation while on the island. Typically, the only cost for you on the island is spending money, and night time meals.
